Our freestanding parasol and flag bases plus parasol spigots, ground installation fittings and certain gazebos use various materials including powder coated steel, galvanised steel and stainless steel, all with different levels of corrosion resistance for different environments. Rust is a natural part of the ageing process of all steel based materials and is therefore not considered a defect and is not covered under any Surf & Turf Instant Shelters Warranty. This warranty is the only express warranty given by Surf & Turf Instant Shelters Ltd. No person has the authority to change or add to these obligations and liabilities. Any repair, hardware replacement or fabric replacement supplied under warranty is covered for the time remaining in the original warranty and does not activate a new warranty period. Our products are all designed to be easily repaired and all parts can be changed using a screw driver and allen key. Our products are commercial quality, and tested post production, meaning minor marks could be visible, small discrepancies would not be classed as a warranty issue. Fabric Warranties and Limitations Our fabrics are covered against Rot or significant loss of strength from normal usage and exposure conditions. It does not apply against any deterioration of any kind due to wind or weather related damage, misuse, burns, negligence, vandalism, perforations or stains due to environmental pollution, and fair wear and tear. Our fabrics are treated to have high UV properties, but colour change can occur during regular use, especially in bright sun. Colours that use more red pigmentation (red, orange, yellow) have lower colour fastness so can show some fading earlier. Fading would not be a warranty issue. Our canopies and sidewalls are stitched products, so stitch holes will be visible and expected. These will be more noticeable on darker colour canopies. The stitching holes are small and would not effect the waterproofing of the canopy. Stitching holes would not be a warranty issue. Our products are water proof. However they are not a fixed roof structure, and in consistent, heavy rain, there is a possibility that small drips would come through. This is generally only the case on the first use in rain. After that the seams swell to offer added protection. Small amounts of ingress would not be classed as a faultIf the gazebo is left up over night, condensation can occur. This is a natural process and not something that is affected by the fabric. Rips caused by force would not be classed as a warranty issue. Repairs can be carried out at cost price, or new panels can be purchased.
