How to Maximise Your Gazebo with Dye-Sublimation Printing

At Surf & Turf we want to help you get the most out of your branding and make your event set up stand out from the crowd. We’re proud to offer full-coverage dye-sublimation printing for gazebos and event accessories to create an eye-catching look, whilst ensuring brand consistency with colour matching.

What advantages does dye-sublimation print offer?

Whilst vinyl print can be a good option for simple logos and text, there can be limitations to the size and placement of graphics due to the printing process. You are also limited to a set of stock colours for the base product. On the other hand, dye-sublimation print can be applied across the entire surface of your product giving you more space to get creative with custom colours and complex designs to create a stunning final product. Seamless designs that wrap around work especially well and bring your set up together as a cohesive advertising tool.

How can I get creative with dye-sublimation print?

Your gazebo doesn’t just have to be a shelter from the elements, it can also be a strong marketing tool to attract and retain customers. Below are some fun design ideas that get people to stay at your stand for longer and even encourage further promotion.

Photo opportunity walls

Including a photo opportunity at your shelter is a simple way to encourage organic promotion of your brand on social media. Simple ideas like angel wings or your brand’s mascot character can go a long way towards grabbing people’s attention.

Games and challenges

Why not come up with a fun challenge or game to entice and entertain potential customers? Introducing a competitive element like a high score board can increase buzz around your set-up, or encourage social media engagement with a contest and prize for a lucky poster

Interesting information and infographics

Shelter walls can have a large amount of surface area so use this to your advantage to explain what your company, product or service offers. In this example, the Royal Air Force Typhoon Display Team wanted a back wall  to highlight the attributes of their jet planes in an appealing info-graphic. This can encourage potential customers to stop and read, increasing engagement with your stall.

Matching accessories for a fully branded set-up

Having a matching set up will make your business impossible to miss with its dominating presence at events. Products like flags, banners and table covers with matching branding make your company appear more professional and put together which can go a long way when customers are deciding which stands to stop at. This set-up we produced for the Stackable Pancake Co. features a sky banner, two flags and a menu board as well as their stand out gazebo which creates a cohesive look that sets them apart from the competition.

Conclusion

Dye-sublimation printing allows for your creativity to take charge when designing your perfect event set-up, with less limitations than vinyl print you can take advantage of the entire surface area of your gazebo to promote your brand. Having fun with your design and incorporating unique elements like photo opportunities will make your set-up stand out from the crowd and create buzz at your events.

FAQ

What limitations are there to dye-sublimation print?

While this style of print does allow for a lot of creativity with your design, it is important to consider that, like with all printed items, the colours you can achieve with physical inks can differ a lot when compared with the colour range of digital display screens. Speak to a member of our team about colour matching to get the most out of your branding!

Can you have double-sided print?

While print cannot be applied to the reverse of a piece of fabric that has been printed once before, we can stitch two pieces of fabric together to create a double sided product.

What are the minimum requirements for image quality?

Vector graphics are the best type of image for print as they retain their quality no matter what size they are scaled to. At Surf & Turf, we can re-create your logo as a vector for a small charge, but if this isn’t possible or you need to use photos, then we recommend images must be a minimum of 300dpi. Our in-house design team are on hand to help with your design so get in touch!

Where can I get started with a dye-sublimation printed gazebo?

We offer a range of package options for printed gazebos to make it simple for you to select a set-up that works for your business. Alternatively, you can contact us directly with your idea and artwork so our design team can help to bring your vision to life!
